Born in Nîmes in 1972 of Franco-German nationality, trained at the Louis Lumière school in Paris, she dropped anchor in Marseille in 1995, a good home port after a childhood spent in the sun (Near East, Dom-Tom).
Stéphanie breathes fresh air into her images, which, like her, always seem to be moving: "I like blur, soft lights, to move away from the obvious reality". Clean, emptied of their temporal information, her photographs - in color and mostly in medium format - seek an ultimate goal: the state of contemplation.
